Riley Stearns

Riley Stearns is an accomplished shorts and feature film director. Unique and brilliantly sarcastic, Riley is happiest when directing comedy as dark as a winters lake on a moonless night sky.

His droll sense of humour, unnerving use of framing and preternaturally nuanced storytelling have made him a recognisable face in the industry, with his first feature ‘Faults’ premiering at SXSW and Sundance. Riley has just completely his 2nd feature, ‘The Art of Self-Defense’ starring Jesse Eisenberg.

It’s not his dark and off-kilter humor, nor his flare on a jiu jitsu matt that make him Dirty, but rather the his approachable character and willingness to go the extra mile that tell us he’s Dirty through-and-through.
