London born Tom Gorst began directing his own short films whilst studying Drama at the University of Bristol. His love of music drove him to begin his career with music videos and documentaries for UK hip-hop artists, capturing urban music’s rise to the mainstream. Tom has directed music videos with all of the major labels, including Sony, Universal, and Warner Music Group, working with the likes of Skepta, Loyle Carner and Logan Sama (Radio 1).
Collaborating with some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies (including Sky, Samsung, YouTube, Unilever, RedBull, BA, Vivienne Westwood, Ogilvy, VCCP, Wieden + Kennedy, Isobar) Tom’s award winning advertising campaigns have received praise from AdWeek, Campaign Live, David Reviews, PromoNews, Shiny Awards, Booooooom and The Drum.
His ability to construct unique narratives and combine the emotional rawness of real life with cinematic imagery keep his work ever fresh and relevant.
