The Beat by Neda

The Beat, by Icky, is a sinister celebration of bellies and beer babies. Directed by Neda, from Dirty Films.

The film pays homage to Beyonce’s pregnancy photoshoot, yet with flashes of umbilical cords, and blood, the music video is peppered with visual surprises.

There is an intensity to the film. Which she explains: “ I see the world as one big mockumentary, equal parts joy and terror, and I think this film has that irony to it, beautiful yet sinister.”
